Robert Slager Tiling is a completely certified family-owned business with four generations of expertise, situated on the Sunshine Coast.
The journey began in 1934 in the Netherlands when Jan Slager started his career as a tiler and bricklayer. His son Ben Slager inherited the craft from him and passed it down to his own son, Robert Slager. For over a decade, Ben and his wife built their life and raised their family in Australia before moving back to The Netherlands. Since 1986, Ben and Robert have teamed up for many years, undertaking marble installations and tiling projects in both the Netherlands and Germany. Ben and Rob have been engaged in the most prestige projects serving customers such as the wealthiest families in the country and even the royal family of The Netherlands.
Having been born in Australia and raised in the Netherlands, Robert returned to Australia in the early 2020's with his wife and kids. He established his business on the Sunshine Coast and has successfully carried on the trade. His son, Robin Slager, has joined in since a few years, marking the 4th generation of tilers in the family business, where they strive to achieve the highest quality tiling work.
